nordpeis
Together with @murer_h_gimle and in collaboration with @nordpeis, we created this one-of-a-kind fireplace for my workshop at @studio_haandkraft — a true meeting point of craft, fire, and form.
The tiles were crafted on-site, their surfaces finished with a glaze made from the very ash that the fireplace has already made, along with fragments of green glass from recycled beer bottles. Each piece is a quiet dialogue between past and future, material and memory.
Even with spring in full swing, I’m already looking forward to the crisp air of autumn and winter — and the warmth and light from the fireplace🔥
